Jo was commissioned by Theatre in the Quarter to produce a play on the current refugee crisis. Called  'The Lost Boy' , this family theatre show enjoyed a two week run in Chester and was critically acclaimed, receiving two 4 star industry reviews from The Stage and Reviews Hub. It was also short-listed for a national theatre award.

Jo also produced with Theatre in the Quarter  an ambitious street theatre piece  called 'Walk My Journey' (in collaboration with the national City of Sanctuary charity). The project involves a documentary and live street performance with over 700 primary school children and 6 refugees.
